Saturday (5th) at 8 pm.
With insights from former members of the cast,(can't be many left, now), this show celebrates the world's longest running sitcom. Saw the trailer last night, will be watching.

I did wonder though, why is it on Channel 5?

Because Channel 5 turn out documentary after documentary - usually they're about working class people having an awful time of it or some poor sod with a health problem and they're just completely classist but they're cheap to make.

I would've thought the BBC would have some kind of copyright though.

I'm not sure if it's not a repeat. Didn't the show start in 1973? I'll be watching though not much else on for me then.

I think LOTSW started in 1972, so 30 years from then would be 2002. I believe this programme has been on before and features actors who have since passed away. The last episode ever was broadcast in 2010, so I think I have seen this documentary, years ago. It was good though, as I recall, so might watch it again.

A nostalgic trip down Memory Lane. I hadn't seen it before, so it was a lovely hour and a half for me. As I was watching the different actors on the screen, I kept thinking, 'He's gone, she's gone....' It was a great tribute to the show, and the people taking part.
