Dear, oh dear!
I imagined Ben Fogle to be educated and intelligent. Perhaps he's listened to George Dubya a bit too often.
This is about the nuclear disaster - not a 'nuculer' disaster.

Radio Times refers to his pronunciation of "nuclear" (also apparently of "Ukraine"). I watch all Ben's 'New Lives in the Wild' series and he's admitted once or twice that he didn't do well at school. Travel and adventure have I think always been more his inclination than academic learning.
I decided to give this a miss. After the superb series on Sky Atlantic 3 years ago, and even a one-off documentary from Ben himself last year, I wondered what more there is to add.

I must admit anything about Chenobyl fascinates me. I have seen the mini series three times.

Nice when you don't do well academically but have contacts isn't it. I remember him in that island thing in Scotland. He came across quite genuine for a while but later admitted the producers had asked him to try and promote some romance........but not tell the women it was a production strategy so that it all looked genuine. He knew what he was about from the start and that just put me off completely.
