This is showing daily at 9.00 this week and I caught up with the first one yesterday. A woman living in a pretty tough estate with her young son sees a pair of men walking by when she happens to look out of her window. She answers the police requests and provides a statement, which despite not bearing her name is somehow known to the gang. She is then intimidated.
The police must really love this! Talk about a deterrent to coming forward! I trust no one, especially her witness liaison officer, but that’s mainly due to the young officer in LOD. I thought it was a good start.

I think it's good. I've watched it all now (on My5). It has quite a heavy message but in general is pretty believable. Nina Toussaint-White does well in the lead I thought, backed up by stalwart Sue Johnston as her mother, but the police are played rather flat and almost bored - perhaps deliberately.

I haven’t finished it yet but I must say I am very impressed by the lead actress. Considering many of her scenes are filmed in close close-up, she is mesmerising. Often all you see onscreen is her mouth! Perhaps her eyes, sometimes the whole face. Jodie is great as a character. When Po muttered something about how things would work out, I said to the TV “you don’t know our Jodie”. 😂😂
