I'll be watching. The RT says the CGI is a bit underwhelming, but it seems OK in the trailers we're getting.

I agree with the RT, and a bit more. To my mind, if the trailer is anything to go by, the CGI is poor.

The CGi certainly isn't Jurassic Park quality but the programme really interesting. There's a lot of new research about allosaurs in the first episode.

I thought it was interesting too. I always assumed Allosaurs were just earlier and less impressive versions of T Rex, but with those proportionately much bigger arms they had extra capabilities. I thought the CGI was reasonable, bearing in mind this is probably aimed at a youngish audience and I assume would not have a vast budget. Looking forward to next week.

I watched this and I think we’re spoilt a bit by the CGI of Hollywood. This was perfectly adequate and as you say, Miranda, it was interesting.

The new theory about the jaw on the allosaur was amazing! Explains the relative weakness in the jaw muscles.

And I hadn't heard about the circular breathing before either.

I enjoyed it. As geometryman says, it's probably aimed at younger viewers. Will continue to watch.

I agree about the presentation being for younger viewers. But I don't mind that if I'm learning stuff
