Just watching this documentary now and feel so incensed and sad at the little boy's relatives, friends and even the school masters backward attitudes and reactions to his medical condition ... And yet is it any wonder with the poor low standards of education, sanitation and general health care In India ?

I think you may be right but surely ANYTHING that improves their lives can't be a bad thing and media attention seems the first step always ?

Yes its a bit of a paradox as I suppose the fees payed by the film companies will fund the operations thes poor people require.
