I know Piers isn't everyone's cup of tea but I've always enjoyed his Life Stories programmes. He always seems to get the best out of his guests.
The new series started with Barry Gibb. It was a joy. Sad, funny and emotional at times.
Next week is Nigel Havers which should be interesting.

Isn't there one with Nigel Farage...or have I missed it? Was supposed to be last Friday originally, so still to come. There appears to have been a bit of juggling going on,as next Friday's is billed as number 3 in the series, which it isn't. |

Another interesting programme. Listening to Nigel Havers' story reminded me of my last boss who was a ladies' man. I kept a very wide berth!

I saw Nigel Havers last night, as I'd recorded it. Very enjoyable. He kept insisting that he was being very honest, and I don't know why, but you couldn't help believing him. I knew he'd lost two wives to illness, but not all the circumstances. What a full life.....
(I had a charming boyfriend like that, once. Never knew if he was lying, either)

Another really good one with Boy George. Revealing, honest, emotional and some how uplifting.
