This has been available for a while, but it is something that I have just found. It is Alistair Cooke's excellent series of letters from America, many of which had been lost. In 2014, 600 of them were found by a dairy farmer in a shed in Warwickshire, stored in a muck-spreader, and they have been restored and posted online. They cover many topics, from presidencies, to civil rights to festivals, to how America views the world. I would listen to them every week, and they inspired me. When they finished, I was sad. We would no longer be hearing from one of the greatest speakers the BBC had, along with Mark Tully with his reports from India, lit up the air waves. The above link is to the home page. If you want to listen to them by theme, you can, here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/2rJqRDQsMjPNn8tg2hZVDV/letter-from-america-by-theme
