I didn't watch the Williams match...can't stand the woman.
I watched the girls final instead, it was terrific. Got to 9 Championship points The sportsmanlike behavour was a credit to them both. They could teach the adults a thing or two.

Fab match! Enjoyed every ball ... except the very first game when Kontinen dropped his serve. Eek, I thought, this could be a bit one-sided. But no! Back they came. Really chuffed for Heather.

It would be nice if she could win. It'll be good for her confidence. Who was the last British woman player to win any Grand Slam doubles title? (Not to put any pressure on her.)

Enjoyed the women's final. Lots of grunting, but I suppose I'll have to get used to it Still very impressive how quickly they transform the court ready for the Presentation - no one does it like the British!

Grand slam doubles record for Sam Smith: Australian Open 1R (1998) Wimbledon 1R (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000) Her singles record was: Australian Open 2R (1999) French Open 1R (1991, 1999) Wimbledon 4R (1998) US Open 2R (1997)

I love Serena - a superlative athlete and an articulate ambassador for the sport. And she quotes Maya Angelou. What's not to love?

Fantastic! Four Brits through to Wimbledon finals:
C'mon
Andy Gordon Jordanne Heather
Four grand slam titles would be great but whatever the results they've all done Britain proud.
Last day of Wimbers slways makes me sad but this year we've got the Davis Cup next weekend, the Olympics, US Open and end of year men's finals to look forward to.

Great day for sport. Wimbledon Men's final. British F1 Grand Prix with Hamilton on pole. A football final going on somewhere!

Well done Gordon! He will always be the first Men's singles wheelchair Wimbledon Champion. He's also done a "Serena" in also winning the men's wheelchair doubles.
One down, three to go...
