Well done, Andy. He was certainly the better player today. I hope Raonic gets a Slam in the future as he is an excellent player. Murray's great returning didn't allow his big serve to have its usual impact.
Now, Heather's turn ...

I usually watch Wimbledon religiously but completely lost track this year because of the rain, until the QFs. What happened to Jamie Murray? I thought they were doing well.

Great it didn't rain at Wimbledon. There is a roof - snoozer_11 What actually happened here, cleaner, was that I posted congrats to Andy, then as soon as I saw it on the page, it occurred to me that there might be some who were going to watch later, and I might have put my trotter in it, and given the result. So, pressed Edit and had to put a message. Could only think of a comment on the weather!

Fabulous win! Really hope it gives her loads of confidence for her singles career, and would love to see her play some more doubles in the future.

What a wonderful day for British tennis! You wait years for one British Wimbledon champion then four arrive on the same day!
Well done
Gordon Jordanne Andy Heather
i forgot Alfie Hewett who won the wheelchair doubles with Gordon on Saturday. That takes the total of GB winners to five. Alfie is the youngest at just 18.
