Yes, I'm still not quite sure what to do with myself now Wimbledon is over.....just waiting for the Olympics to start then I should be OK again..

So, in preparation, for those with chronic withdrawal symptoms, here is the Olympic timetable for tennis. Andy - singles and doubles Jamie - doubles Johanna - singles definitely and doubles possibly Heather - ditto I'm not sure if we will qualify for a pair in the mixed doubles as there are only 16 slots, but if we do it would presumably be Jamie plus either Heather (she would be my choice, given her Wimbledon performance) or Johanna. |

I remember when Eddie Izzard did all those marathons day after day he had an ice bath every evening.
"The general theory behind this cold therapy is that the exposure to cold helps to combat the microtrauma (small tears) in muscle fibers and resultant soreness caused by intense or repetitive exercise. The ice bath is thought to constrict blood vessels, flush waste products and reduce swelling and tissue breakdown."
