Well done to Brit Tara Moore who won her match yesterday. Not much play sgain today and the weather's not looking good for the rest of the week. Mr Crafty is programme selling tommorow, Friday and a couple of days next week. Not much fun when it's pouring with rain.

Someone mentioned over talkative commentators upthread. John inverdale is rabbiting on as iif he's being paid by the word and don't get me started on McEnroe. Haven't heard Andrew Castle yet thank goodness. Is he there? Just watching the Dustin Brown match with NO commentary. Bliss! it is sheer bliss to be free of commentators isnt it! How I wish that in this digital age, there was an ability to toggle the commentary on or off, like you can do with subtitles. Over garrulous commentators can completely ruin the enjoyment of a match and to be told to mute the sound is frankly completely missing the point. Its like going to the theatre to watch a play then have a couple sat behind you talking about the actors, what they've appeared in before, how they played a scene etc oh and don't get me started about celeb spotting ..... Yes Andrew Castle is there, at least he and Jim Courier have reasonably, bearable voices - not too harsh or shrill. Sue Barker with her, cheery announcements that the match is now being switched to another channel, disappearing to online only, or a whizz round the courts at a sitdown that makes me shout at the TV

I'm on Virgin and have six red button channels with matches on yet the red button is never mentioned as an option by Sue and co.
The last thing I want to do is have to switch on my PC to watch a match. I don't have a swish smart TV either.

If you're on Freeview you only get one RB. Which is really annoying seeing as FV started the whole thing!

That must be galling.
Just watching Federer against Marcus Willis. Willis is having a ball. He's got five games off Federer which isn't bad for someone ranked 772 in the world. He's even been giving Fed the runaround at times. The crazy thing is he's playing a club match tomorrow night!

Most enjoyable match I've seen for a long time. Great atmosphere there wasn't there.

It was fantastic. All credit to Fed, letting Marcus go on court after the match and acknowledge the crowd.
Getting seven games off the world no. 3 and seven times Wimbledon champion is no mean feat. Other, better players have probably fared worse.
Fed was very gracious in his post match interview, recalling how nervous he felt the first time he played on Centre Court.
Congrats too to Johanna Konta. Winning in two straight.

It really was a good match, makes you wonder how good he'd be had he taken tennis seriously all those years. ![s0711](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/sad/s0711.gif) Federer is such a gent.

He is a real gentleman, isn't he? I admire him a lot. Should be more like him.

Well done Dan Evans. He beat Dolgopolov in three straight sets.
Now he goes on to meet ....
Roger Federer! Fed will be "fed" up with playing Brits on their home turf!

Have just checked the order of play for today. No sign of them. Very strange. Brown is playing doubles today, on Court 4 Molteni (Arg) & Peralta (Chi) v Brown (Ger) & Struff (Ger) It is the next game up on that court.
