On sports radio they were talking about a recent interview with Coco Gauff. She was asked what she was most looking forward to this coming year.
She didn't say anything about winning Wimbeldon or the US Open or anything like that. She said she was most looking forward to turning 16 so that she could get her driver's license and she and her friends could go out cruising around, to the mall, to Chic-fil-A for some fast food and other normal teen stuff like that.
It is so refreshing how unaffected she is by her tennis career. Her stardom. She just sees herself as a typical kid.

Yes Sootycat it was a fab match. So pleased Nadal won but Kyrgios did push him. Hope K can channel his tennis like this more often. I find his manner too annoying still to enjoy his skills but he is talented.

I haven't seen any of this but heard the sports news the other day 'Federer is in trouble ... looks as if he's going out ... he's only gone and won it!' I just love listening to him proving his critics wrong again and again, as so does everyone it seems. Poor Djokovic, he's going to win this but the public doesn't love him.

Really enjoyed the ladies singles final (A lot to do with the absence of Serena I must be honest!)
I thought Sophia Kenin was a cracking little player and one to watch in the future.
Sad to seeJamie and the highly colourful Bethanie Mattek-Sands lose though.
