Congrats to Sophia for her first big win.
I agree she is a player to watch in the future.
I love her style which is very old school. Sort of reminds me of Chris Evert.
She is not big and strong and intimidating like Serena who just overpowers and over athletics opponents.
She uses different angles on her shots, disguises them, keeps her opponents guessing. Uses all the tools in the kit.

They probably should have pointed out only to do the volley challenge with someone you live with and are already in daily close contact with.
People may think it's ok to play tennis with friends because they are standing so far apart but they forget they are touching the ball with their hands and then using their hands to touch their face, their water bottles.
I see lots of people playing tennis, playing catch with footballs and baseballs, playing frisbee, sometimes in groups of 3 or 4.
Again they probably think because they are standing so far apart they are social distancing but they forget they are tossing a ball/frisbee that they are all touching.

I have been watching the Ultimate Tennis Challenge on Eurosport. It has been organised by Patrick Mouratoglou at his academy and is using a very fast and furious format. Not sure if I can follow all the new rules yet, but it's good to see some more live tennis.

One thing I noticed about the Ultimate challenge was how they wore masks and didn’t sit on top of each other (unlike the matches from Belgrade last week)
As you say, odd scoring, didn’t understand it at all.
Sad about Fed though. I don’t reckon there will be too much tennis till next year.
I believe that the BBC will be putting on 50hours of Wimbledon classics some time soon.
