Not much else that you can say. The line-up is stellar; the performance, more than stellar. It is a pity that Roy Orbison died so soon after.

I'm not a huge Beach Boys fan, but God Only Knows is an amazing song. It's beautiful in words and music. I agree 100%. I consider myself a Beach Boys fan, but I never really cared for the super popular songs about surfing, cars, the beach and sun.
I always preferred the melancholy introspective songs. God Only Knows, Caroline No, Heroes & Villains, Our Prayer, In My Room, I Wasn't Made for These Times, Sail On Sailor.

Sticking with the George tributes...I knew Prince was good on guitar, but I never knew this good!

Talking of George Harrison I like this song.
And my favourite scene in Hard Days Night (along with the 'Hes a nice old man' scene at the start.
"Oh by all means, I'd be qui're prepared for that eventually"

I've been listening to some of Laurence Fox's music. I didn't even know he could sing or did music, but I've been enjoying it. It's a slower pace, quite introspective and has a Chris Martin feel (but don't let that put you off if he isn't your thing, it's just the lisp type thing that reminds me of him.) My fave songs at the moment are 'Gunfight', 'Shelter', 'Punching Underwater' and 'Mostly Water'.

The Kinks were one of the most underrated of the British Invasion bands. Just fabulous.

I dare say Elvis Costello's version may be better than George's original. Must have still been a bit intimidating to be sitting right next to him though!

My favorite version of Stairway these days. Robert Plant seemed moved and Barak and Michelle Obama entranced as well. This is a fab rendition. Have always loved Heart and they did it great justice.

Betty LaVette with an interesting twist on a classic Who song.
