This looks very good....
BBC4 copy:
An immersive, experiential film about the deaf world, with its unique humour and culture - a world which most of us rarely encounter. The film is in BSL: British Sign Language. There is no score, no commentary, and none of the conventions of normal film-making.
The film follows some of the key characters who frequent St John's Deaf Club in north London as they face life's twists and turns and challenges.

I must record this programme. I have no idea how deaf people cope in our society today.

Really enjoyed this - Looking into the lives of four friends from St John's Deaf Club - Tina & Marios, plus Abigail and Memnos [Marios's brother].
At first I thought it was going to be just about the football team - thankfully, there was more, much more - a birth and a decision about a cochlear implant....insightful and emotional, a gem of a film.
Amazed how quickly newborns are tested for hearing too.

My son used to have a deaf girlfriend and she told him off nicely for holding her hand, she said she couldn't speak if he did.
