There's some left? Have they been topping up?

Season 5 just ended! Very convoluted but basically after 125 years of cryogenic sleep they are about to land on another planet! Clarke will no doubt take over in her usual charmless way, justifying whatever immoral decision she makes whilst condemning others for the same thing, lol. Still, I do think this remains a very inventive show.

I kept wondering how they could keep the series going as it seemed they had boxed themselves in with the Shallow Valley story line, but now they have a whole new planet to desecrate!
I also didn’t see how they would be able to redeem Octavia - I just assumed she would die heroically or Clarke would kill her. The reveal of the cannibalism and why the bunker group were so conflicted worked for me.
And while they killed off the poster child for the best of humanity (Monty), at least he saved the future for everyone else. And he rescued my favourite character - Murphy!
Now I’m actually looking forward to the next series.

Thanks, Dame, never actually watched this, but saw the trailer last night, looks interesting, so I might give it a go.

I have just started watching it (Season 1). It is not up there with the best, but it is interesting enough to keep me watching.

I've set the recorder. I reckon that even ignoring the extended sleep, some of these "youngsters" must be pushing 40 now IRL! I am curious as to how it will pan out on a new planet. It has been rather an inventive show up to now but I can barely remember all the twists and turns, and who is still alive! I hope the Previously bit is long enough to jog my memory.

They’ve plunged right into it, haven’t they? I also struggle to remember the histories of some characters.
I do like “abandoned city” settings, so it’s promising.

Just watched episode 2. Barely time to catch your breath the rate this is going. Im very surprised by how inventive this show has managed to be, given that it is not a main channel prime time blockbuster type of show. Is it huge in the US?

I don’t think it’s huge, but it certainly got some money behind it - the production looks very good to me.
This season has got off to a banging start. So many mysteries already. Here’s a few:
Why are the dead bodies important? Why does it seem like the population are all children?
And most importantly...
What’s wrong with Murphy?

That the population is relatively young is probably down to the need to limit the population; a bit like Logan's Run. It also keeps casing costs down. I am beginning to get a bit tired of it. It could have been very good.

I just spotted online that the Bellamy and Clarke actors got married a couple of months back. A big surprise apparently as they managed to keep their private lives private!
