This is getting interesting. I didn't watch the first few series, so I don't know who the characters are, but I'll keep watching as it looks a promising storyline.

I think you can pick up most of what you need, and it helps that they’re now on a whole new planet. The only bit that might need explanation is “Nightblood” which is a genetic modification that makes people who have it immune to radiation. The child, Madi, has it (as does Clarke) and she also has a brain implant which gives her access to the knowledge of the Commanders who have gone before.

Thanks for that bit of info beth63, I'll remember that when I watch the rest of the series.

“The 100” is the latest long-running CW series to reach the end of its run. Series creator Jason Rothenberg has announced that the show’s previously announced seventh season will be its last.

Just watched episode 2. Barely time to catch your breath the rate this is going. Im very surprised by how inventive this show has managed to be, given that it is not a main channel prime time blockbuster type of show. Is it huge in the US? These offshoot networks like the CW are mostly owned behind the scenes by the big boys. When they want to they will put some very big bucks behind certain series. Other series they put on shoe string budgets and they have the look of a Canadian programs. That is no offense to Canadian series. Many are very very good especially in writing and acting. Just a different level of production value.

Well this has been another innovative series as they are on another planet with divine beings (so called). We have had oblation (cf His Dark Materials), seen Caine rescued but refusing to live because he disapproved of the method used to save him, Clarke's mind invaded by a Prime but she fought back, Octavia seeking forgiveness.
This week is episode 12/13. I cannot find episode 13/13 in next week's RT. They wouldn't, would they?

Well, that caught me by surprise! I was expecting one more episode.
They really packed the last 10 minutes with teasers for the final season.

No. They changed the times, and it finished too late at night for me. I don't record anything, so I'll never know what happened.

Sacré Bleu! I had trouble remembering who was in whose body during that, lol.
I am quite surprised they jettisoned Abby. I also had a sneaky preference for demonic Madi.
So that girl who came out from the anomaly is the pregnant woman's daughter, having aged about 20 years in, say, six episodes. Oh well, why not... I hope they haven't killed off Octavia, my favourite character, who will now go into the abyss after Diyoza. I think I would have told Gabriel I wasnt interested in his big idea and left, as John suggested.

I was surprised but relieved at Abby’s demise. At least Demonic Maddi was more interesting. I don’t see that Octavia can be dead. My romantic side thinks she should hook up with Gabriel (he should avoid Raven, who seems to be the kiss of death). I guess Jordan has gone to the dark side, and I assume that’s Priya’s disc he’s got. And the Flame uploads itself to the ship’s computer system, where it has control of the rest of Wonkru and the convicts. Are Murphy and Emori nightbloods now?

I was amazed Jordan popped up in the episode, he has been gone so long. He is so boring, he is no great loss though imo. He seems to have gone to the dark side but only because of Priya it seems, he doesnt seem all that bothered about anything or anyone else.
I have completely lost track of the nightbloods. Didnt Echo reveal herself as one the other week? And once you become one, do you remain one for life?
