Thought there would have been some comments about this new quiz show. I started to watch this but was put off by one of the team captains being Jonathan Ross, and also by Jamelia who usually gives the impression of not being very bright. However I quite like Frank Skinner and Alexander Armstrong. I persevered for about 15 minutes ( which included an ad. Break)but then gave up. Didn't find it funny, informative or anything really, couldn't see the point of the family at home who brought nothing to the show.
maybe I didn't give it enough time , but I felt I'd better things to do!
Also what has Alexander done to his hair? Can't he just accept that he is losing his hair!

I thought about watching it but... haven't they tried this format a couple of times before? I think it might have JR who was a captain then as well.

As it keeps going on about a phone app...and the phone I have is pretty basic, I didn't bother.

I was looking forward to this as something we could all join in on at home and have that live anything can happen aspect, I thought, it would be entertaining. But it was dull. Ive watched the one in years gone by, on BBC, with Anne Robibson where they tested your IQ and the Nation etc and those were about 2hrs. The show last night felt longer. After the 1st ad I ended up looking through the papers! I like Frank Skinner, I can give or take JRoss, but Jamilia, Arhh, why does she always act so think, maybe she thinks it makes her look indearing, like a ditzy girl, but it just makes the Midlands look think...Even though Skinner is from the Midlands his accents not a broad as hers. Won't be watching next week...my dad would kick the screen in, he can't stand Armstrong! |

Not clever, witty and quick witted like WILTY or HIGNFY on BBC.
Not sweary and vulgar like Big Fat Quiz on C4.
Stuck in between in bland ITV, trying to appeal to everyone and therefore not really appealing to anyone.
In other words, crap.

I stuck it out until the end, (but with misgivings as I'm not fond of Ross), but it's not something I'd feel was a 'must see' in future.
As said, it sort of falls between two stools. Not going to be a big hit with viewers, I'm sure.
