Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this. I really didn't like the film, or Tommy Steele come to that, but this production was really fun. Now the leading man, Charlie Stemp I believe, has been greatly lauded for this and he is very good, always on the go!, but he is a bit too "Frank Spencer" for me. But that I think is a minority view as many in our audience cheered and gave him a standing ovation. I thought the whole thing was staged and executed very well and the other singers had very good voices especially his two girlfriends.

Grad you had a good time. When I was in London in November there were posters for Half A Sixpence all down the escalators of the Underground an it seems to had really good reviews. I think it was on London Palladium with Bradley Walsh a couple of weeks ago. The lead guy does look likes he puts his all into it.
