I am not keen on how Debbie’s character is developing. She is turning into her mother! I've never liked Debbie. Now or years ago. I find her very humourless. I don't think I've ever seen her smile. She's always got a chip on her shoulder about something or sees the negative in everything. She's always picking arguments with some One.

Oh Robert. I have a feeling something is going to happen with the baby. I did think that it might not be Roberts as Bex was sleeping with Ross the day before...and I think the day after. But if they have the whole 'the baby's not yours it's his' storyline it'll be very similar to Vanessa and Adam which was only recently. But Robert holding the baby and being so happy just pointed to something bad happening. Maybe with the baby or maybe Bex takes the baby away. I know... the Whites are leaving, but I don't know how. If they'll just leave, they die, some end up in prison? But Robert just seemed too happy and that doesn't bode well.

Wow, best episode I've seen for a long time. In fact the best episode since Ashley's stand alone episode and death. Great stuff from everyone involved...Even Charity. First time I have enjoyed input from every character involved.

There's a cameo on Christmas Day and I've thought for ages that it'll be Katie and now with Bernice mentioning Katie it's cemented it in my mind. When Seb was born Robert went to the graveyard to visit his dad's grave and while he was speaking the camera showed Jack's grave in the background, Robert front of it and Katie's headstone in the foreground, which is originally what made me think it might be her who's the cameo. Robert is a s**t and has brought a lot on himself but Aaron was the one to pushed him away when he was in prison, he got drunk and did something stupid and has been paying the price and has been so angry that he's making everyone else pay... although as he was drunk could he even consent to what happened with Rebecca? If it had been the other way around it would be a whole different storyline.

How long did it take Boira ,when she was locked in the room, that there was a window to aid her escape and confess all to the police? Looks like another fun filled Christmas in The Dales. I think you may be right on ? being the cameo prof.

If there was any justice Robert would be squashed under that car permanentely. NO! I like Robert. He can be lovely, sweet and caring and on the other hand he can be selfish, odious and conniving. (I used to like Thomas in Downton Abbey for the same reasons) and I've read a synopsis for after Boxing Day and Robert is still alive. If the cameo isn't Katie, then it'll probably be Andy. But it's more likely to be Katie after what happened between Robert and Katie...and didn't they used to be married? I stopped watching for a few years.

So the cameo was Val! That was a nice surprise. I wa convinced it would be Katie, but I'm glad to wrong as I couldn't stand her! It was a strange episode but I enjoyed it. I don't think it's something you'd do all the time but a one off episode trying something new is good. Although if you're not a Sugden or Dingle fan it might not have been too fun.

Did anyone look after the poor lorry driver that Lachlan steered the car into?

Didn't look like it did it. Great chase and crash. Emmerdale do this stuff so well. Shame Ryan's wooden acting let it down.

No one seemed to check on the lorry driver, Kabuki, but he was mentioned tonight, I think Aaron asked if he's said anything to the police, so I assume he's ok. I like Ryan as Robert, Sootycat. I thought he was good during the crash, trying to keep it together for Chrissie so she wouldn't panic. Seeing all the White family and Roberts relationship with each one. Argh. I know Lawrence was thrown out and died straight away but I think it would have been better to have him alive in the field with Robert trying to help the man he's tormented recently and then die. A bit of redemption and loose ends tied up for the relationship between the characters and also a better ending for John Bowe, as his character demise was face down in a field with no last words. A bit of a shame as I liked Larry, I'd have preferred for him to survive.

Robert holding Seb yesterday. 🤗😍 Lovely. That baby was so relaxed and sleepy. I presume they'd had to wait for the baby to sleep for the storyline (that being, that the baby has been sick on Roberts shirt and while getting changed the baby had fallen asleep and as the baby hadn't been sleeping very well he wasn't going to risk waking him, so stood there bare chested like a statue so as not to wake him.) And then risking the baby waking when they went for "action", but he was a proper little trooper and just slept.

Are you sure it wasn’t an animatronic baby? They do use them and they look very realistic.
