This is a new show by Netflix Original. The name stands for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. It's about two guys, one director and one rich boy who wants his own TV show. It's set in the 80s when WWF was huge.
But... it's honestly not what I was expecting. It's a heck of a lot deeper. There's a lot about the sexual politics and social changes of the 80s. But it's also funny. And very true about how women think. Mainly cos it's written and produced by women.
So if you want to see something different, you should watch it.

I'm half way through this and I'm loving it. It's funny but all grabs you because you want to see their transformation and finally see them in the ring. I'm liking the producer, he was the receptionist in Private Practice and in a short lived (but good) sitcom called Enlisted.

I'm enjoying it so far. I'm looking forward to how they actually get on in the ring. The director guy Mark Maron had his own show called Maron so I might dig that out...one day as I have so much saved to watch! I found Acussed on YouTube after watching Sean Bean in Broken and also a show called Vexed with Toby Stephens, a comedy detective show which I loved.

Season 3 starts on Friday 9th August
In Season 3, the women are now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, but quickly realize Sin City is much more grind than glitter. Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth’s passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life. Debbie is making headway as a producer, but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son. As their residency wears on, the lines blur between performance and reality, and the cast find themselves struggling with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.
