Out of interest, it would be useful for me and Geoff to know how many people use tablets/mobiles to access and participate in the forum. This will help when we want to add features or reorganise something.
And if you do use a tablet or phone, please let us know if there is a feature you have a particular problem with. I'm not promising we can do anything about it but knowing about will help.

I have ticked desktop although I used my tablet as well. It wouldn't let me tick both

My favoured device is my laptop which I use whenever I'm at home. But when I go away (for work or whatever) I use my phone. It is tricky though, and I have to know what thread I'm looking for - I can't view 'New Posts' from my phone.

Bearing in mind there are two ways of viewing the forum, there is a desktop version where all things are visible and available, and a mobile version which has restricted access ,and plug-ins don't work.
I am on a 10 inch tablet ,desktop version, with no problems, if you use a phone it is going to be much trickier.

I pretty much only use the tablet at home (unless I am really bored and use the desktop at work)

I've said phone, which is my main way of using the board. I do occasionally use the PC or tablet.

All four for me to read the forum, but almost exclusively desktop to write or reply to posts. Can't be doing with fiddly keyboard on phone or tablet.

I probably use my Kindle the most for looking at the forum, but I use the desktop version on that device as the mobile versions of websites irritate me (cos they don't show me everything I want to see, grr!).

I use the iPad because my PC, with Norton security, is very, very slow on this site. It does mean I can't do any of the fancy stuff without a mouse though, so I just read and post with no links or copying etc etc.

I use a laptop in one room, mostly weekend or late at night, but a tablet if I am watching the telly. The keyboard on the tablet takes up half the screen and I find it really hard to type with, so I only post with the laptop. For that reason I don't join in the quiz, or live posts like for SCD; though I might try this series, but they are likely to be short and worthless.

I use my tablet 99% of the time using the desktop version. I don't have any problems attaching pictures or links. Very rarely, if I'm in a waiting room or something, I might use my phone.
