I'm going to give this a whirl tonight: ITV 8.00 - 8.30 pm, sandwiched between Corries.
"A darkly humorous take on the rural idyll, co-written by and starring Jack Dee". There's an interview with Jack Dee in the current printed RT. He says 'Bad Move' was inspired by 'Escape to the Country', in which you never see what happens after a couple have actually bought a house - this imagines what might, and as you can guess from the title it's not good.

I enjoyed the first episode. Hopefully it'll build as the series goes on. I'm not used to 30min comedy on ITV, it ft more like a BBc2 or C4 show.

Yes ... his character is a web-designer who has moved into the countryside having been assured by the estate agent that internet access wouldn't be a problem - but it is - BIG TIME!

I like it. A good first episode, not too OTT as you sometimes get at the start of a new comedy, and some nice touches - such as the glimpse of "old Ted", who used to mow the lawn for cake but apparently had to give it up because of his sciatica, running past as fit as a fiddle.

I enjoyed it,so did Mrs. Owl.We were in the shop they used a couple of weeks ago,we know the village really well,it is very quiet and peaceful there, as we have rented a cottage for a week every September for years and we visit whenever we are up in the area.We saw some filming taking place on the village green when we were there last but did not see anyone we recognised and wonder if it was for Bad Move.

Now for some reason I wasn't expecting to like this very much, despite liking Jack Dee, but found it rather funny. I'll stick with it.

Last one tonight, I’ve enjoyed it, I like Jack Dee’s wry humour, but because it’s not full of bad language and lavatory humour they probably won’t commission another series.
