ABC’s The Good Doctor will receive its UK premiere on Sky Living on Friday October 27th at 9pm.

The Good Doctor follows Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, relocates from a quiet country life to join a prestigious hospital’s surgical unit.

Alone in the world and unable to personally connect with those around him, Shaun uses his extraordinary medical gifts to save lives and challenge the skepticism of his colleagues.

ABC in the United States have just ordered a full twenty-two episode season.

The drama series, which hails from House creator David Shore and Hawaii Five-0‘s Daniel Dae Kim, also stars Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff and Tamlyn Tomita.
