Saw RT at the weekend. What a brilliant evening ! Just him and his acoustic guitar. My OH worked out he'd seen him at exactly that same venue performing with Fairport Convention 46 years ago! Saw him also in August teaming up with FC at the summer Cropredy festival near Banbury. Said it made him realise why he'd left the band 40 years ago ! And he played some excellent new songs too. Top Guy ... more power to his plectrum ! 🎸

Saw the thread title . . and thought the worst!
I am a FC fan but a little biased as the Festival is a fairly regular family treat. Must admit though, nowadays we tend to start leaving before they start Meet on the Ledge!! Very cold feet and a long trudge to the car parks!

Oh, that's the best bit ! Though it is a VERY long trudge ... one year we decided to recant a barge instead of a camper and OH actually managed to step RIGHT into the canal walking back 🤦♀️... fortunately he had enough alcohol in his system to ward off any disease !
