I am a sixty-something year old Scot who likes music, reading (especially crime and science fiction), video games and foreign films and television (including good anime). My avatar is of " The Lone Wanderer" from Fallout 3, a post apocalyptic RPG game, part of an open world RPG series that I like to play that I like to play, and my 'location' Springvale, looks a bit like this:  A bit bleak, I know, but it is better than nothing and better than some of the projections in the referendum, from either side  . My house is the one behind the trees on the left. Unlike the other place, where I found everywhere to introduce myself locked -- I felt it would be too presumptuous to start a new one -- I already find this place much more embracing. |

There is a board for games and gamers down in the Stuff! section so make yourself at home.

I really don't intend to bang on about (actually have to quit posting now, with lots to do today), but pretty much my first post, on the 'Cliff Richards' thread, was to ask if we might get some idea of the admin's motivation in setting up the board, because of previous false starts when Beeb boards closed down (who else remembers HyperStar?). I wonder if ayone actually knew this 'Edie Ochiltree' from his postings, or was this a ringer from the start? I just wish the POV stalwarts had inspected that gift horse a little more closely... And that's all I have to say about that.  (for want of a Gump smiley) |

I'm not sure how unless you know of any other boards they are on. Dizzy kindly let me put a note on the POV Exiles board. And I'm hoping Tony and DrsDaughter will see their PMs.
But yeah, if anyone knows where anyone else is, please let them know.

Hiya! Managed to make my way here successfully. (Thanks for the PM on the other board, Miranda.) 
I'm mainly a lurker, but don't hold that against me! Usually, it's because I series-link a programme and then binge-watch it over a couple of nights, so I can't join in discussions straight after an episode has aired because of spoilers. I then enjoy reading through a thread once I've watched the various episodes, though. Anybody else do that? (I still have the entire series of new-Poldark to watch, lol, but I'm hoping to start that this week. ) |
