I'm thinking of going to see All's Well That Ends Well at the Sam Wannamaker Theatre (Shakespeare's Globe's indoor Jacobean theatre) in January, but I'm holding off booking, partly because I'm not sure what January will bring, partly because I can't work out if it will be a historical dress production (if I'm doing the full 17th century candlelit theatre experience I want the production to match!).
Is anyone familiar with the theatre? I was fine standing for Doctor Faustus in the Globe itself but I'm not sure how it would be in the SW. Having said that, I believe the seating (wooden benches) is not terribly comfortable.

I haven't been to the Globe or the SW (the former on comfort grounds!) but I am sure one of the reviews of an earlier SW show (Duchess of Malfi IIRC) commented on how hot it gets with all the candles. I thought in The Globe itself you could take your own cushion, maybe even rent one there? Perhaps the SW is the same.
