It would be great if any competitions (eg text CASH to 882244 or whatever) had a closing date that included the year. I know it usually says do not enter if watching on demand, but for instance Dickinsons Real Deal - the ones on now are repeats and not on demand at all.

Yes, welcome nesty. I have to say, I have never been tempted to text any short number things. I think it's just a scam to grab your mobile number and flog it to junk callers. PPI and so forth.

You certainly get pestered once you've given them your number - it put me off ever donating that way again, except to Children in Need.
