Anybody listen and like his breakfast show? I listened to him back in the days when he was on radio 1 but have never bothered listening to him on radio 2 for longer than a few minuets. Just wondered as he has been getting some awful press since the Top Gear job and he is now being investigated for sexual harassment (during the 1990s), there has also been questions over how much he is getting paid. Wonder if the Beeb will get rid of him?

Health warning. Before this descends into the mire,please remember no making of unfounded allegations, the presenter in question has done nothing wrong until proved, and has actually put on listeners to his breakfast show. We can't all like the same person ,such is life. Thanks  |

I can't listen to him, personally. The constant background noises, that egg song, all a bit childish and irritating, it's not for me! I listen to the local radio, even with the ads.

I do listen to him on my way to work, he can be a bit manic at times but Lynn and Vasos can calm him down. I'm used to him now. I like the half wower when I think its Sara Cox sitting in,
I'm very wary of the allegations as so many allegations have been made against presenters / personalities that you do wonder how much is true and not.
I am trying not to make any judgements on those who bring / report incidents to the police but your really do wonder about the media and their motivation for reporting some allegations but not others.

Today,the allegations and case has been dropped ,no evidence.

It shows how vulnerable celebrities are to such allegations. After all these recent incidents, I feel that, unless there is an overriding need for publicity, nothing should be said. Perhaps there should be rules governing the release of names, and it should have to go through some judicial process.

I used to listen to him, but eventually tailed off, and now don't have the radio on, or watch Breakfast TV instead  |

He's too loud and shouty for me, I listen to classic FM on the way to work.

I have him on while I'm getting ready for work and I've no idea why. He won't let Vassos get a word in edgeways. It's got worse recently. He talks over him! Incredibly rude.

Reading this I realised that I would ALWAYS have the radio on at home and in the car but hardly seem to these days... All the inane chatter and endless ads means I rarely can be bothered to listen which is a shame ?

All that chat first thing in the morning is the opposite of what I should imagine is what most people want. Terry Wogan knew that, and held his loyal audience for years.
I saw last week that "Ginger" as Mr Delia calls him, has lost half a million listeners recently.

I don't mind him and on a Friday he has live acts in, yes he talks a lot but he plays a lot of music as well. The loss of listeners was put down to the Top Gear listeners abandoning ship.

I don't enjopy listening to Chris Evans but I like listening to Tim Rice even less. He took over "Sounds of the Sixties" this morning and I looked in The Radio Times to find Brian Matthew's name abscent. If Tim is taking over quietly , I will never listen to the programme again.
