Think you are muddling this with Collateral, the other new series John Simm is in. I'm not surprised when they were scheduled against each other last night! Oh sorry yes, what an idiot I am 🤦‍♀️ ... but easily done as you say with them both on at the same time ! Just watched tonight’s offering ... predictable that he’s now seemingly going after the doctors daughter. Shows what mayhem can be caused by obsessive people though? I feel sorry for the doctor but I think we are supposed to and tomorrow night there will be a revelation although I cannot imagine what ? Wish they’d made it more believable, too much woolyness for my liking.

The one thing that's troubling me in all this is that Dan's so convinced that Jon had had a drink prior to treating his son. I'm sure at no time time Jon said that he had. In fact, when reference was made to his 47th birthday in that initial confrontation, all he said was that it had been recent. Not necessarily on the day of the stabbing. Other than that, I'm loving this series, and quite glad it's on on consecutive nights.

Isn't Dan supposed to have got his personal details from social media? He knew when the birthday was and asked if they had had a celebration "with cake, a drink?" ( I can't recall the exact words but it was along those lines) to which Jon replied "yes". We saw the celebration when Jon took the phone call asking him to go in to work. His wife asked if he was on-call and he said he wasn't but he was needed at the hospital. He may have had a drink by that point although it can't have been much because he had scarcely got home from work when his phone rang. Still, I suppose, in the circumstances, even a drop would be enough to raise suspicion.

Thanks for reminding me Vicky. It was quite early on on wasn't it. I was still working out who was who at that point (it always takes me ages )

This surgeon is his own worst enemy. He seems to be doing things that are getting Dan more furious. But Dan is going where he shouldn't...was there no security anywhere in that Hospital. He seems to go wherever he pleases. The two main characters are playing a blinder though. Can't wat to see the final outcome

Didn't take him long to find out where the Mortality and Morbidity Meeting was being held did it? I knew some doctors who barely found their way there in years.. seriously though this would not be open to anyone and it would not be just next to the café at the entrance of the hospital. Or course it's a drama but so unlikely that the doctor would just talk to him whenever he sees him or pop around to the house for a chat with the wife!! Not that he didn't make a mistake, as we will find out, just so far none of the other staff are corroborating anything that looks likely. Got a pretty quick appointment with the psychiatrist as well. I wonder what hospital this is, clearly they have short waiting lists.

Although there are numerous holes in the plot, I have to say I find it quite a thrilling watch! John Simm is so full of resentment and anger. He switches from calm to fury in the blink of an eye and just seems to relish taking any comment the wrong way.

Nooo ! What a thoroughly unsatisfactory this programme ending was? I have complete sympathy for the surgeon and that god awful SO hard done by evil Dan didn’t get half what he deserved and as for that spoilt little madam daughter moving out in a fit of pique ? Talk about ungrateful ?

It’s quite gripping, apart from all the plot holes, ie if he’s so hard up how’s he affording sessions with a, presumably private, psychiatrist? I can’t help feeling terribly sorry for him, I think grief has driven him out of his mind but we know the surgeon is lying about drinking, would that have made any difference? Still got the last one recorded to watch over the weekend.

So Dan gets a satisfactory ending and it looks like Jon's life is stuffed.

Utter drivel, can't believe I put myself through that. I did not think the acting was good at all. I thought everyone was going through the motions of a badly crafted drama.
