Are you referring to this forums settings or my tablets settings? Yes I've often edited my replies but as it's optional I don't give a reason for doing this Thanks for help . Lenovo not much help just dumping me onto that Justanswer who ask for payment deposit up front so would rather pay my man as I need his help for other things,as you say face to face much easier for the likes of me !

Tablet settings. Just thought, you could have edited to get the quote thing right, and might just use my correct user name. Oh well...... There is no need to give a reason.

There is another method which is available through the tablet's general settings. These are the general steps for the most up-to-date versions of Android. - Open your device's Settings. It's typically shaped like a gear (⚙️), but it may also be an icon that contains slider bars.
- Scroll down and tap Language & input. ...
- Tap your active keyboard. ... (Sometimes it is called something else (depending on make and Android version) e.g. Google Keyboard).
- Tap Text correction. ...
- Slide the "Auto-correction" button to the "Off" position. ...
- Press the Home button.

Good Luck. I know that predictive text can be quite annoying.
