As disappointing as I thought it might be. Who's interested in a precocious and singularly obnoxious nine year old? They even wrote it in to the script when all the teachers complained about him. It didn't even raise a giggle.

Sadly a precocious child is not exactly attractive. Whatever the reason for their manner.
Might give it another go next week but won't mind too much if I forget....

Well l expected to like it,and did.
Will be interesting to see how it develops and he turns more into the Sheldon that we know.

I enjoyed it as well. Mostly because it's filling out the characters of his family members. Especially his relationship with his father. And the actor playing his mother is doing a good impression of Laurie Metcalfe.

That's Zoe Perry, Laurie Metcalf's real life daughter. She also played a younger version of her mum in some flashbacks on Roseanne.

Now that we're used to the portrayal of younger Sheldon and his mother in particular, I'm liking it. Didn't think I was going to, but I'm pleasantly surprised.
