My dad used to use Thursday! I don't believe it is American.
I worry about Mark's weight, too. As someone who gave herself diabetes because of being overweight, it is foremost in my mind these days.

Me too! I thought he was being written out, and there'd be a new character in series 4. I thought that was just an everyday response - Rammy had just replied "Come back on Tuesday" to Frank's invented excuse that he was there to discuss A-Level options for his fictitious kids. Am I missing something deeper? How to put this delicately? “See you next Tuesday” is a euphemism for the C word. It may be American, I suppose. Well, we live and learn! I've never heard of that!

For a few, scary moments I thought Sebastian was leaving! That aside, did anyone else wonder at Frank’s line to Rammy the maths teacher: “See you next Tuesday”? Surely not a coincidence. 1. I thought that. 2. I thought that too! I agree with the comments about Mark. Re Sebastian, at first I thought "Oh No!" . Then I thought "you've just done Hamlet, surely you would get more than 10 lines". Then I thought "would you take someone on tour just for ten lines? Surely you would double up two small roles?" . PS Forgot to say I really enjoyed the series. I think Lu is a lovely character.

I've enjoyed it too. The main (or all!) characters have human failings, the plots are outrageous, murders are handled with unlikely sangfroid (much like Death in Paradise) - but it's thoroughly entertaining. Roll on series 4! (And if you like repeats, series 2 starts at the same time on Monday).

I agree about Mark. He has always been a big bloke but he is a worrying size now.

Yes, but you get a free months trial to try it first. I think it's worth the money
