I've finally gotten around to watching this show and I'm loving it. I'm only 4 episodes in but I'm hooked...hopefully the rest of the episodes will live up to the first 4.
It stars Jonathan Groff (Looking) as Holden Ford and Holt McCallany as Bill Tench who work for the FBI and travel on the road to teach local law enforcement, usually in small towns and cities, techniques to help with their jobs. Ford starts visiting a prison and interviews Edmund Kemper, played brilliantly by Cameron Britton, who's imprisoned for the murder of his mother, I think he'd already been institutalised in his teens for the murder of his grandmother.
They decide that interviewing more prisoners will give them an insight into why they kill and help with in going and future cases.
It's based on the book 'Mindhunter:Inside the FBI's Serial Crime Unit'.
