ITV have commissioned a ten episode series of WOS Wrestling, a wrestling series aimed at a family audience.
WOS Wrestling will see some of the UK’s finest pro wrestlers compete in various, intense bouts.
At the end of each show, only one will get to take home the coveted WOS Wrestling Championship belt. Backstage interviews between rounds will give insight into what the wrestling stars are thinking.
ITV Studios Creative Director Tom McLennan will executive produce.
“There is a massive indie wrestling scene in the UK and a strong nostalgia for the wrestling shows of our youth”, McLennan said in a statement. “WOS Wrestling will combine the best of the past with incredible talent available today to make a fun, exciting and thrilling show that the whole family can enjoy.”

This will be interesting!
When I was a lad, this was one of the highlights of Saturday afternoons - wrestling at 4pm, presented by Kent Walton. A snowy picture on UTV giving us the delights of Mick McManus, Kendo Nagasaki, Giant Haystacks et al.
Will today's wrestlers have the same personalities?

Hmm.... I wonder if it will work out. I'm assuming it's not going to be WWE-like? Wait and see I suppose.

Passed an hour, they are very fit, usual antics, sort of tribute act .
Not sure it will attract a huge fan base,or make any superstars, can't see a Hulk Hogan or Rock coming out from this.
It is what it is.
