Since the hot weather none of my remotes seem to be working properly. Either ignoring the button presses or saving them up and doing about 8 things at once. And it's the remotes for everything that has a remote.
I've changed out all the batteries that I can so the only other thing can be the heat. It's exceptionally hot here.
Would it hurt to put them in the fridge for a couple of minutes?

If they have been sitting on a table or somewhere in direct sunlight, that may affect them ,but will soon go away.

I don't know what is causing it then. Every remote is playing silly buggers today.

Found it! The remote for the DVD (which is not even plugged in) was under a bag that was pushing down one of the buttons. The signals were interfering with all the other remotes. I lifted the bag up and everything is back to normal.
There's too many remotes these days!
