Sky Living will be changing it's name to Sky Witness on August 6th. It'll still show procedural dramas such as Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy etc, but will occassionally show serial dramas with 'The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair' being one of the new ones in a deal between Sky and MGM, which will also give Sky rights to 'The Handmaid's Tale' as a video on demand service. (I assume C4 will still show it first with Sky having it in their online video catalogue) The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair will be shown by Epix in the US which show the TV series' 'Berlin Station' with Richard Armitage and 'Graves' with Nick Nolte and Chris Lowell (GLOW), hopefully those will be aquired by Sky Witness aswell, although Graves is a 30min dramady, but Berlin Station would fit the new rebranded channel perfectly. They've also brought '9-1-1' with Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) and Angela Bassett which has been renewed for a second series. (I love the show. Totallly ridiclous in places Krause's character causes a fire in an apartment building by leaving a gas heater unattended by a sleeping bag, but the building didn't have sprinklers and broke a lot of regulations but Krause's character blames himself as his wife and child died, at one point he confesses to a priest "I killed 148 people"! What? It reminds me of the Justice episode of Red Dwarf when Rimmer is found guilty of the deaths of over 1000 people, when Rimmer says he's never returned a library book late, the justice computer explains his negligence in failing to fix the drive plate caused the fatal accident "ohh, that!") Other shows with be 'Instinct' with Alan Cumming and ' For The People'
