More Agatha! I have set the recorder. I wonder how old it is.

I found this very dated. They acted as if they were on stage in a low rent company IMHO. My recorder didn't recognise the series link so I have abandoned ship.
Nice to see Arthur though. And Roy Kinnear as a taxi driver.

It is dated. But then they are trying to capture the 1920s feel of the stories. She wrote these early in her career and the first one, especially, was a parody of the Boys Own stories that popular at the time.

I watched quite a few of these last year, and found them a trifle painful to watch. Mind, there was an exceedingly young John Nettles in one of them! There was also a secretary called Miss Lemon in one (or possibly two) of them, so she was obviously recycled when Agatha came up with Poirot.

I don't think there is a secretary in the original Parker Pyne stories.
