i am a tad behind with my viewing, and seem to have two series recorded and ready to go. Thought I would start the binge today, but I can’t work out which series is which, so I have watched 2 episode 1’s but neither seems to tie in with the end of the last one I watched. Having checked the dates they are all from this year.
does anybody actually know? One is a two parter.
thanks

Series 10 starts with a 2 parter. Great Balls of Fire, where debutants are murdered one after another. Series 11 starts with Murdoch in prison for the murder of a burlesque dancer and... Jackson and Crabtree murdered, but not all is what it seems And series 12 starts on Alibi on 14th January at 9pm.

Sorry should have said I am watching on drama. The two parter has the chief not the chief following a beating at the docks.
The other one has George in jail for murder

Righto. Series 8 is the two parter, On The Waterfront, with Brackenreid out for revenge down by the docks. Series 9 is the one with Crabtree in prison. And see series 10 as above ☺

Saturday 21st September, they are showing the Murdoch Movies, a prequel to the tv series, with Peter Outerbridge as Murdoch. also in the cast is Colm Meaney.

Well how odd, because I think they are an earlier version than a prequel with a younger Murdoch. I shall record it but not watch on the same night as I wont know if I'm coming or going! I might save it/them until the series is over. Thanks for the heads up.

Very.
I've seen it before. It is an extra on the S1 DVDs.

I agree, it's different. Not sure if I like Colm Meaney's Brackenreid. Maybe I've got too used to the characters in the series. Will continue to watch, though.

Good grief.
6 minutes into this Murdoch Movie, and they have George saying 'piss off'.
