John Lithgow - I love you dearly but... that is not a Swiss Roll!

I really like these Bake Off celebrity challenges but I had to grit my teeth for this one as it featured Russel Brand - a pretentious so and so IMO (don't want to swear). However, the others were so sweet and loved John Lithgow - but fancy not knowing what a swiss roll was

I didn't know John Lithgow was the original Yoda!

I didn't want Russell Brand and his vagina biscuits to win! Jon Richardson made a terrific Swiss Roll, so precise.

The two Johns were hilarious and I thought John Richardson would win because of that Swiss Roll. He's a dab hand at piping isn't he? Those orange and black lines were perfect.
I'm really looking forward to the one with Jeremy Paxman.

It was a bit unfair on John Lithgow - he'd never seen a swiss roll before and had only written instructions to follow.
Been enjoying the repeats on Third Rock from the Sun on 5 Star. Such a manic character and such a mild mannered person in real life.

Comedy highlight of the week. I wanted each in turn to win.

Loved the way they stood behind each other to tie each others aprons.... Not a fan of Russell and he was typically attention seeking, but they are all good sports to take part, on camera. John Lithgow is lovely - the work he gave himself with decoration was stunning. His 3D Downing Street was inspired.

This week you can easily tell who has watched Bake Off and who hasn't by the reactions to the word 'lamination'.

At least we were spared vagina biscuits this week!

At least we were spared vagina biscuits this week! To be fair, the cream horns were a gift to Russell T and Rylan. Either they were extremely reticent or a lot ended up on the cutting room floor.......there were a few winks, nudges and astonishingly innocent expressions. Seaside postcard humour as we Brits like it.

This week has Big Narstie, who I can't stand, so want to skip it, but it also has Johnny Vegas who I do want to see. Looks like one to record.

Big Narstie was a waste of space on this programme or was he just trying to prove that he did not conform?
