The gamekeeper can’t leave the other estate though? It’s where he died? Not going into the details…  I’m hoping for a new female ghost in the next series (please let there be one!) but not sure how that would work as presumably she would have to be from the present day? Have we now only one death to explain, now that we’ve seen what happened to Robin? We don’t know the rest of Captain’s story? If it’s covered in the Christmas episode that might be a good idea in case….. |

I think you’re right, I have an idea about what happened to her but that’s based on what we were told about her sister’s behaviour towards her and how for example she wouldn’t bother looking when they were playing hide and seek… I’ve added 2+2 and come up with a 5  |

If the Captain and the others can go out from the house into the grounds, presumably the game keeper can do the same, in the other direction? They cannot leave the GROUNDS, but they can go in and outdoors.
I'd like the plague girl to move upstairs, even if the others are scared of her.
Yes, we still need to learn about the Captain and Kitty. I think they will struggle with Kitty in particular because she is so sweet you don't want to think of anything nasty happening to her.
I was worried that Mike was going to be hit by lightning in the final!

Finally got to the end of this. Really good series, and I was pretty concerned by the flames at the start! I was thinking surely not! Haven’t we got a Christmas Special to come? This was followed by the new Daisy May Cooper vehicle, Am I Being Unreasonable? I loved it but it might be an acquired taste. But if you’re looking for something to watch, and it doesn’t go the way you expect, it might be worth a try. Same here, I thought the whole mansion was going up in flames, which would mean no more series! Yes, there will definitely be a 2022 Christmas special, was announced a few weeks back.
I'm with you on Am I Being Unreasonable too, I really enjoyed that - and made several guesses, all of which turned out to be wrong!

I enjoyed "Am I..." until a certain incident involving the child and the cat. And then I just wanted revenge!   One of the plague ghosts could move upstairs. A previously not particularly seen female one. I think it was obvious that Katy Wix might have to 'move on' career wise. |

BBC3 is showing the US version of 'Ghosts' from Sunday 20th of November!
Having seen some clips on Youtube it is just as good as the original, although there are some different characters. A Viking instead of a caveman. And a 60s flower child instead of Georgian Kitty.

BBC3 is showing the US version of 'Ghosts' from Sunday 20th of November! Having seen some clips on Youtube it is just as good as the original, although there are some different characters. A Viking instead of a caveman. And a 60s flower child instead of Georgian Kitty. Well spotted Bidie! I’ll try to remember and record it. |

I just watched the last episode. I thought Mike was going to die and become one of the ghosts. I loved the bit where the outline of Robin was visible when he (I presume) used his psychic energy to draw the lightning away from Mike.
I won’t be watching the American version. I always hate American remakes of our programmes.

I think the US version shows promise Hoody so will give it a go.
I loved the UK version of The Office - but also adore the US version.
Sometimes it works and from the trailer I posted, they do seem to be sticking closely to the original idea.

From what I've seen, the first one sticks fairly closely to our template and then goes off in its own direction. Which I think is a good idea, as their history is not our our history. Will be interesting to see what things are different. And it did get a second series, which is a good sign. American TV companies are pretty ruthless at chopping off the dead wood.
