A rather poignant episode last night. I suppose they've all got used to being around earthly things it's a bit of a shock when they 'see the light'. Robin can be quite philosophical sometimes. Have loved this series, especially last night, when they mistook the Birthday Girls' ages.

I’ve just watched it. It was so sad. I got teary when Fanny was watching Loose Women and shouting for Mary to come and watch.

Someone on Mastermind last night chose Ghosts as their special subject and had obviously watched the series carefully and often I got most of the answers, but not as quickly as she did Another Ghosts mention in the following Only Connect  |

Big fan of this series and agree that Mary 'moving on' was unexpected and sad in a way. But Pat's attempts to comfort Kitty were hilarious and the farewell ceremony they put together was brilliant.
I wonder why we do not see more of the little plague girl who appeared in a couple of episodes?
But there is potential for another spook to turn up. I loved the Roundhead/Cavalier soldier Alison encountered in the lane near the house in the last series who, on realising she could see him, began to trot after her (despite the pike in his stomach) asking
"Miss! Miss! Who won?"

Finally got to the end of this. Really good series, and I was pretty concerned by the flames at the start! I was thinking surely not! Haven’t we got a Christmas Special to come?
This was followed by the new Daisy May Cooper vehicle, Am I Being Unreasonable? I loved it but it might be an acquired taste. But if you’re looking for something to watch, and it doesn’t go the way you expect, it might be worth a try.

The gamekeeper ghost who Robin had known for years but the others just discovered has potential.
I keep waiting for Fanny's husband to show up - now that would cause ructions.
Brilliant series, so many funny lines/bits and a top notch cast.
And yes, I think there is to be a Christmas special.
