Anyone having a problem? It keeps telling me there is no connection but everything else loads just fine. Uninstalled and reinstalled once and it started working. Watched my programme. Then went back later and it gave me the same message. Tried to uninstall it and it was going for ever. So I've turned the tablet off completely. About to turn it back on again.

Could it be a wifi problem, rather than iPlayer? I don't use a tablet, but had something similar recently with my Amazon Fire TV stick, cured by "forgetting" then re-scanning and re-connecting my wifi.

I thought that but everything else on the tablet is fine. And I checked the settings and the tablet is picking up the correct signal. So I don't know.

Some while back had a similar situation with my bank,everything would connect except that, after talking to them it was suggested try data on phone after disconnecting wi-if, it turns out for some reason the address was being being blocked ,spoke to wi-fi coy who found out the problem and fixed it.Never got to the bottom of the reason.
So try it on phone,if works on there you have narrowed down the cause.
