I have just watched the individual competitions. Well, I recorded them and today they split the show in two so I only have half of the women's floor as it switched to BBC1. Just tried iplayer and it says Not available so I haven't seen how Claudia did. Still we did get a few good medals!

Just started watching the Women's all around. And what's the first thing they do? Announce the winner of the Mens.....  Luckily I'd already watched it but I'd be bloody annoyed if I hadn't! |

Another thing that is doing my head in is the constant music on the individual apparatus finals. What's the point of it apart from being a distraction?
And what's this nonsense with the sofas? I'm sure the gymnasts would rather be back with their teams than sat there like muppets.

The sofa malarkey is something that is gradually creeping in everywhere! I've seen it on skating and skiing. As you say I am sure they would rather be with the team of their coach. And they were horrible sofas too!

The noise in arena is always horrendous! Imagine doing your beam exercise when the crowd goes mad for an uneven bars exercise, or the music blares out for the floor. I always think of that when tennis players go nuts because someone has unwrapped a sweet or whatever. I must look for the continuation of Sunday's show on iplayer to see if they have released it yet.
