Only just got around to watching the final 3 episodes of this: started watching weeks ago!!
Mr Delia, who had not read the book, and I, who had, both thought it was excellent. Good casting, great photography (sometimes very graphic scenes, but then its about the horrors of war) and a tale well told.
We were also reminded of the black humour of MASH, one of our all time favourites.
