Is it ever, totally unmissable. It is currently ranked as IMDB's highest rated tv series in history.

What a fantastic series this has been.
My daughter is miffed because they have Virgin and Virgin don't get Sky Atlantic, so she hasn't been able to see it..

It has! - and the finale was a terrific finish.
It's difficult to find fault with any of it, and it's been one of the best things I've seen on TV for years.

This might interest:
Photographer Tom Skipp visited Chernobyl and nearby Pripyat, its replacement town Slavutych, and the abandoned sites of the region – meeting the people behind the disaster: from the liquidators who worked at the fallout site, to the resettlers and the community who live and work in the area now

Yes, Russia is making its own version of Sky Atlantic's critically acclaimed series Chernobyl - blaming the nuclear disaster on a CIA saboteur.

Yeah, right... - I'm sure the rest of the world is going to believe that, and rate it 9.7/10 on imdb! It would be laughable if it wasn't for the undertones of a Russian return to Cold War mentality.

I don't know your circs Sootycat, but worth remembering that, depending on which deal you have with SKY, it allows simultaneous viewing of the NowTV App on 2+ devices ( i.e. more than one or two viewers). It’s not a bad deal if you don’t have Movies and Sports, but just the Entertainment. Sometimes, having different Subscription channels spread across family or friends can allow the best possible viewing options for the least amount of financial outlay. I plead the fifth on any more detail.......

That's what we do. It wasn't planned originally, but once we started it, it just made sense.

I didn't realise that Sky News had made this documentary: Following the success of the Sky Atlantic drama series, this special documentary heads to Ukraine to meet some of the people involved in dealing with the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986. Writer Craig Mazin said he wanted to bring "the untold true story" of Chernobyl to the world, dramatising the events surrounding what happened that night, and how the Soviet government and people responded. The series has been praised in the West not just by viewers and TV critics, but by experts too. As the show came to its conclusion, Sky News spoke to a nuclear scientist and a journalist born and raised in the Soviet Union – you can read their thoughts here. But what of those who lived through it? The men who worked at the plant, the firefighters, the divers, the pilots, the families evacuated from Pripyat, now a ghost town.
