Anybody going to be watching this? It starts tomorrow at 9pm on ITV, and there's a special episode tonight at 9pm called '7 Up and me' with famous fans saying what the groundbreaking documentary series means to them.
I think it was '21 Up' that I started watching this (or maybe '28 Up').
NB: I shall probably do my usual and record all the episodes first before binge-watching over one or two nights.

I'm watching 7 Up and Me too ... I think I have seen all the 7 Up sequels, and MrC would have been 7 the year I was born which was when it started. I have found the whole thing fascinating. It's been a brilliant - and I'm happy to say - consistent documentary.
I will be watching tomorrow.

I will certainly be watching. I'm a couple of years younger than the Uppers but can relate completely to the childhood experiences of some of them. I didn't know about the programme this evening so may brave the awful ITV catch-up.

I think it's pretty amazing that Michael Apted (director) has been involved in all of them still. 🙂

I'll watch the proper programme, I'd like to see the celeb one but will have to check for catch up (Its become a conservative night with Thatcher doc at 9pm and Alan Clark Diaries on BBC4 at 10pm, watching for the social documentary rather than Tory politics) It would have been 35up that I'd have remembered, the one before that I'd have Been too young to watch. I have seen some of the earlier ones, I think ITV repeated some years ago and at college we watched some.

I've watched from the very beginning, I was only a teenager then Each time there has been something to feel glad about and something sad as well. Looking forward to finding out how they all are, especially Neil...

I wasn't around/old enough to watch the first few series, but they must've repeated some of them prior to showing others (like profbooboo said) which must've been what I watched. Maybe I've even seen them all, lol.

RT article has what looks like a spoiler for something that will be revealed in this series, won't say what, wonder if anyone else has spotted it?

Yes, then he turned up as a Liberal councillor somewhere, and a lay preacher, and seemed a bit more back on track.. but I've always been concerned about him...

If I remember rightly, one of the others featured watched the programme when he was shown as struggling and asked to be put in touch. He then took Neil in and helped him to get professional help and that's how he got back on his feet.

That sounds familiar, Miranda - was it Bruce, (the teacher)?
