Found a free app called Old Movies which shows a lot of copyright-free films. At the moment I'm watching a Laurel and Hardy I've never seen before.
You need the Youtube app to watch them but there's no ads!

Thanks for the tip M. It sounds interesting. I see it is a Google app, but didn’t download. Will it work on an iPad?
Or did you pull it down directly from YouTube?

I own an Android tablet so I don't know. The only reason you need Youtube enabled is to play the movies but I also don't know if they are on there.
