Looked through and couldn't find a thread so started this for any tennis fans.
Have been looking forward to this (the only televised sport I watch, apart from the Boat Race) yet dreading it at the same time.
Looking forward to many of the matches, dreading the verbose commentators.

If you can get iPlayer on your TV, it's showing every single match on at the moment. I'm watching Court 12 with two fellas I've never seen before. And two commentators I've never heard before. So you do have a fair amount of choice.

Agree about the choice - am watching on the red button at the moment. The Djokovic/KohlSchreiber match has just ended - a women's match is about to start. Only a vague recollection of one of them, haven't heard of the other.
Hope I'm not speaking ahead of things but have to say it sounds as though commentators have been through a training process as hardly a word's been heard while the play was on - only during the breaks. Which is refreshing. Becker and someone else commented on the men's match.

I noticed after retuning my Tv yesterday that I had about five red button channels but today could only get a good picture on 601. All the others from 602 are in bundle Ch56 and at the moment I have practically no signal on that frequency. |

I'm watching Gael Monfils. I love watching him because he's so unpredicatble. Two games of genius followed by 3 games of him seeming possessed by someone who has never held a racket before followed by a set of genius.
The poor kid playing him doesn't know if he's coming or going!
