Yes, I was watching the tennis and saving the cricket till the 10pm highlights show on 4.
At about 9pm, I was switching from one thing to another on my iPad and a helpful little news banner popped up on the screen telling me the result !!!

I was watching a Wimbledon match and that idiot Inverdale totally out of the blue gave away the result of an ODI involving England I was going to watch later on.

Similar thing happened but the other way round... Simon Mann on TMS made a big thing about warning listeners he was about to give an update on the tennis... which was good, except that about 5 minutes later he referred airily to 'now that we know Djokovic has won the 4th set' (or whichever it was, I still don't quite know who won what in that match)
